PENDERGRASS – Sara Tolbert Gee, 79, died Thursday, December 2, 2010, following a period of declining health.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Lovic and Blanche Venable Tolbert. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist denomination.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Roy Gee Jr., Pendergrass; a daughter, Kay Gee Howington, Jefferson; son, Steve Gee, Pendergrass; brother, W.R. “Dickie” Nixon, Atlanta; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 5, at 2 p.m., from the Pendergrass Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Burgess officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, December 4, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
