COMER – Rachel Rebecca Ragland, 81, died Friday, November 19, 2010.
Born in Clarke County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Fannie Mae Prather Ross. She was a retired bookkeeper with Golden Pantry and was a member of Central Baptist church. Mrs. Ragland was preceded in death by her husband, George David Ragland.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Gail Ragland, Comer; sister, Hazel Hardy, Albany; grandchildren, Brittney Singley, Brancey Singley and Jessica Hill; one great-grandchild, Scarlett Perry; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held Sunday, November 21, from the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with the Revs. Bob Nash and Thomas Dial officiating.

Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
