ATHENS – Mike H. Wilder, 58, died Thursday, November 18, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Commerce, he was the son of the late Herman and Bertha M. Luthi Wilder.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Christy Nicholson, Athens; children, Jerry Wilder, Commerce, and Michael Wilder, Banks County; brothers, Jerry Wilder and C.L. Wilder, both of Commerce, Danny Wilder, Franklin County; sister, Emily Richey, Commerce; and seven grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 20, at 11 a.m., from the Howington Cemetery in Nicholson with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, November 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday until the time of the service.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
