TALMO – Roger Neal Martin, 51, died Thursday, November 18, 2010.
Born on February 3, 1959, in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Thomas Carl and Claire Boyce Yarbrough Martin. He was self-employed in the farming and agriculture business. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ann Anderson Martin, Talmo; a daughter, Martha Martin, Gainesville; son, Roger Neal Martin, Commerce; brothers, Thomas Martin and Jerry Martin, both of Talmo; half-brother, Morris Reynolds, Talmo; half-sisters, Ann Highsmith, Commerce, and Sue Hall, Winder; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. Ben Coggins and Dorsey Wagner officiating. Burial will be in the Pond Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, November 19, from 12 to 9 p.m.
