WINDER – Velda Ann King, 77, died Friday, November 12, 2010.
Born in Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Annie McDaniel Wells. She was a member of North Side Presbyterian Church and was retired from Peoples Bank.
Survivors include her husband, Robert King, Winder; sons and daughters-in-law, Mitch and Angela King, Winder, and Wes and Fran King, Franklin, Tenn.; daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Dr. John Iacuone, Fort Myers, Fla., Cathy and Dan Dobbe, Sachse, Texas, and Kim and Gary Harbuck, Newnan; 18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Janet Davis, Bethlehem, and Reba Brewer, Winder.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 18, at 11 a.m., from Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Lee Lovett officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, November 17, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
