Martha Estelle Baxter, 79, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, August 2, 2008.
Born in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Delos Hermon and Lougene Robert Barron. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Baxter.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, John R. and Deloris Baxter, Lawrenceville, and Robert W. Baxter, Loganville; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Keith Otani, Mililani, Hawaii, and Diane and Joe Hill, Bethlehem; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 5, at 10 a.m., at Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Jack Segars officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, August 4, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund or Diabetes Association.
