Robert Holbrook

COMMERCE – Robert Edward Holbrook, 71, died Saturday, November 6, 2010, at VA Medical Center.

Born in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Morton and Hattie Rogers Holbrook. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran. Mr. Holbrook was a retired concrete contractor.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Sue Wilson Holbrook, Commerce; daughters, Tangee Glass, Homer, and Robin Thurston, Orlando, Fla.; a son, Nick Dougherty, Ohio; brothers, George W. Holbrook, Alexandria, Ohio, and John W. Holbrook, Johnstown, Ohio; sisters, Martha L. Adams, Pickerington, Ohio, and Alka Fitzpatrick, Grove Port, Ohio; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 10, at 11 a.m., fat Grove Level Baptist Church Chantry with the Revs. John Wood and Jeff Appling officiating. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, November 9, from 5 to 7 p.m.
