DANIELSVILLE – Arlene Denise York Youngblood, 44, died Sunday, October 31, 2010, at her residence.
Born on April 22, 1966, she was the daughter of the Alvin and Loretta Owens York, both of Danielsville. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist denomination. Mrs. Youngblood was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Hart.
Survivors include daughters, Alicia Ambrose and Tasha Chopa, both of Athens; a son, Ernesto Delacruz, Italy; sisters, Andrea Dickens, Crawford, Anita Compton, Hull, and Asaza Samples, Danielsville; brothers, Stewart York, Royston, and Anthony York, Danielsville; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 4, at 1 p.m., from the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Kenney officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday afternoon. The family is at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to help defray funeral expenses.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, is in charge of arrangements.
