Sylvia Minish Cochran, 53, of Jefferson, died Friday, August 1, 2008, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Jeanette Ford, and Shirley Lackey.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Cochran, Jefferson; a son, Rex Douglas Cochran Jr., Lawrenceville; daughters, Leslie Jennifer Cochran, Jefferson, and Angela Nicole Cochran, Hull; brothers, Ernest Minish and Leon Minish, both of Commerce; sisters, Mary Jane Cadell, Commerce, Helen Adams, Hull, Naomi Denton, Charlotte, N.C., June Bellew, Nicholson; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 4, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Burial will be in Minish Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 3, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
