COMER – Rachel Christina Barnes Harris, 64, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010.
A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of Catherine Scarborough McManus and the late Kellie Rowland. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Lytle; and brother-in-law, Henry “Cotton” Foster.
Survivors in addition to her mother include children, Tammy (Tom) Caffrey and Debra Oxford; special friend, David Lohr; brothers, Glen (Rosa Nell) Rowland, Wayne (Dana) McManus and Paul Rowland; sister, Carolyn Foster; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Sunday, October 31, from Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Elliott officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison-Oglethorpe County Animal Shelter.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
