Dorothy (Doremous) LaJouness Armstrong, 90, formerly of Norcross, died Sunday, October 31, 2010, at BJC Medical Center in Commerce.
She was born on July 1, 1920, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Robert Armstrong; son and daughter-in-law, Clifford and Betsy LaJouness, Seville, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Ronald Moore, Pendergrass; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a stepdaughter, Roberta Shever.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 2, at 2 p.m., from Head Funeral Home in Duluth with the Rev. Phil Williams officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Novembr 2, from 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Head Funeral Home, Duluth, is in charge of arrangements.
