ILA – Merdelle Amanda Joyce, 89, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at the Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Commerce, she was the daughter of the late Edward Young and Lillie Richey McGinnis.
Survivors include sons, Joe and Belinda Catlett, Ila, and Ronald (Pete) and Gail Allen, Commerce; a sister, Annette Williams, Commerce; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 30, at 2 p.m., from the Grey Hill Cemetery in Commerce with the Revs. Doug Duncan and Jeff Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, October 29, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
