HULL – Julius Edward Ferguson, 79, died Sunday, October 24, 2010.
A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Mary Estelle Cook and Edgar Floyd Ferguson. He retired from the University of Georgia Printing Department after 37 years and five months and was a member of Joy Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Ferguson; children and stepchildren, Scott Ferguson, Forrest (Pam) Ferguson, David (Sandra) Ferguson, Donna Calloway, Joshua (Kristen) Ferguson, Jack Jones, Melissa Shriner; brother, Jim (Carolyn) Ferguson; sister, Barbara Barton; grandchildren, Trish, WesLee, KayCee, Tony, Micah, Cody, Niki, Travis, Hannah, Kayla, Sebastian, Alex, Zoie and Reagan.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 27, at 1 p.m., from Joy Baptist Church with the Revs. Shanon Hayes and Jon Ainbinder officiating. Burial will be in Danielsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tony Ferguson, Micah Ferguson, Cody Ferguson, Travis Calloway, Jacob Stephenson and Ruben Luna. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, October 26, from 6 to 8 p.m.
