STATHAM – Mary (Bissonnette) Siple, 56, died Sunday, October 24, 2010, following a series of health problems.
Born in Burlington, Vt., on January 31, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Ted and Cecile (Corrigan) Bissonnette of Winooski, Vt. She was a graduate of Winooski High School in 1972. Mrs. Siple was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Schuster.
She was a devoted mother and a highlight in many people’s lives. All who met her seemed to enjoy her personality and outlook on life. She loved to travel and was a free spirit.
Survivors include a son, James Siple; sisters and brother-in-law, Anne and Tony Kenny, Gail Boulerice and Joan Bissonnette; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Deborah Bissonnette and Leon and Barb Bissonnette; brother-in-law, Ken Schuster; several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins; and her loyal canine companion, Nesquik.
Her remains were cremated in accordance to her wishes. A memorial/reception will be held at the home of her son, James, in Statham on Wednesday, October 27, at 4 p.m. Vermont services will be held Monday, November 1, at 11 a.m., at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winooski. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
