Mary Ridgeway

WINDER - Mary W. Ridgeway, 94, died Saturday, October 23, 2010.

Born in Nicholson, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Rice Wardlaw. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist denomination. Mrs. Ridgeway was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Henry Ridgeway.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta Ridgeway, Winder, Celeste and Rodney Queen, Macon, Anita and Jeff Henley, Clanton, Ala. and Mary Powell, Thomasville; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 25, from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home, with the Revs. Rodney Queen and Josh Queen officiating. Burial was in Grey Hill Cemetery in Commerce.

Carter Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
