JEFFERSON – Robert Ned Borders, 73, died Sunday, October 17, 2010.
He was born on March 15, 1937, in Barrow County, the son of the late Howard J. and Rosa Mae Deaton Borders. He was a retired truck driver and attended White Plains Baptist Church. Mr. Borders was preceded in death by a sister, Syril Guffin.
Survivors include his wife, Duvina Roberts Borders, Jefferson; daughters, Ginger Borders Lee, Jefferson, and Connie Doster, Winder; brothers, Timan Borders, Villa Rica, and Paul Borders, Winder; sisters, Frances Casper, Bethlehem, and Peggy Cochrin, Buford; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 19, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Vaughn Howington Jr. officiating. Burial will be in White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, October 18, from 6 to 9 p.m.
