Sue Martin

STATHAM - Sue Culver Martin, 68, died Friday, October 15, 2010.

A native of Watkinsville, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Flora Lou McDaniel Culver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby R. Martin; and daughter, Teresa Gail Martin Glass. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and member of New Life Worship Center. She was a very loving and caring person with such a sweet spirit and will be dearly missed by those who love her, loved ones stated.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Baker; son-in-law, Randall Darrell Glass; grandchildren, Amy Thrasher Whitmire and Bobby Jason Glass; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Jacob Whitmire; brother and sister-in-law, Elder and Elaine Culver; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and David Fields, Catherine Dillard, Linda Holmes, Debbie Dove, Margie and Nelson Dove and Jan and Mike Thomas, all of Statham.

Funeral services were held Sunday, October 17, from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home, with the Revs. Leon Pass and Hal Tapp officiating. Burial was in Barrow Memorial Gardens.

Carter Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
