DANIELSVILLE – Faye Ann Fortson Nash, 77, died Thursday, October 7, 2010, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Madison County on June 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Adams Fortson. She once served as Deputy Clerk of Court in Madison County. She was an avid gardener, marvelous homemaker and loving wife, mother and friend, loved ones stated. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Mrs. Nash was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Adams.
Survivors include her husband, Ellis Nash, Danielsville; daughters, Teresa Nash, Colbert, and Elaine Belfield, Danielsville; son and daughter-in-law, Nelson and Kerry Nash, Danielsville; grandchildren, Renee Wilkes Moore, Christie Belfield Haggard, Jennifer Spratlin Adams, Adam Nash, John Spratlin and Lindsey Nash; five great-grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Howard Minish, Commerce.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 10, from Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Guest officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
