Faye Hembree

HUNTSVILLE, ALA. - Faye Sears Hembree, 83, died Saturday, October 9, 2010, at Huntsville Hospital.

Born in Banks County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Beulah Bruce Sears. She was a retired cafeteria manager for Pathway Christian Academy. Mrs. Hembree was preceded in death by her husband, Coley Hembree.

Survivors include a son, David Hembree, Huntsville, Ala.; a niece, Tina Perdue, Hartwell; grandchildren, Jimmy and Coley Hembree; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Carlton Sears, Ila, and Henry “Jack” Sears, Anderson, S.C.; and sisters, Shirley Hembree, Gainesville, and Betty McKinney, Lexington, S.C.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 12, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Wade Lott officiating. Burial will be at Grove Level Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, October 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
