Alma Geiger

WINDER – Alma H. Geiger, 97, died Saturday, October 2, 2010.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late William Walton and Cynthia Henry Hosch. She was a member of the Bethlehem First United Methodist Church and was retired from Carwood Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Geiger was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Leroy Geiger; and sons, Benny and Billy Jack Geiger.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Cash, Winder; daughters-in-law, Janet Geiger, Jefferson, and Linda Geiger, Winder; grandchildren, Billy Geiger, Donna Geiger, Janet Denice Davis, Benn Cash III, and Linda Rentford; great-grandchildren, PFC Steven Davis, Kelly Davis, Kade Cash and Olivia Cash.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 6, at 11 a.m., from Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Parker Benson officiating. Burial will be in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 5, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
