COMMERCE – Ruth Naomi McDonald, 85, died Sunday, October 3, 2010, at BJC Medical Center in Commerce.

She was the widow of Homer Perry McDonald and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Neely.

Survivors include a daughter, Alice Bullock, Commerce; sons, Harrison E. McDonald, Colbert, and Perry E. McDonald, Commerce; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 6, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Revs. Clarence Reynolds, Danny Green and John Graham officiating. Burial will be in the Webbs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, October 5, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
