PENDERGRASS - Bradley Keith Marlowe, 50, died Thursday, September 23, 2010.
Born on September 1, 1960, in Athens, he was the son of Jackie Marlowe Brooks of Pendergrass and the late Donald Marlowe. He was self-employed in the grading business. Mr. Marlowe was preceded in death by grandparents, John B. and Essie Brooks and Buck and Grace Marlowe.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Leigh Stringer Marlowe; son, Jake Marlowe, Pendergrass; sister, Donette Marlowe, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; brothers, Johnny Marlowe and Andy Marlowe, both of Jefferson, Judd Wilkes, Moody, Ala., and Wade Wilkes, Jefferson; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Willie Pittmon.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 26, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans Funeral with the Rev. Bill Carpenter officiating. The burial will be in the Woodbine Cemetery with Johnny Marlowe, Andy Marlowe, Judd Wilkes, Wade Wilkes, John Boy Stringer and Willie Pittmon honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the Jake Marlowe College Fund, 508 Payneville Rd., Jefferson, GA 30549.
