WINDER – Johnnie Lou Griggs, 77, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010.
Born in Winder, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Lula N. Wilson Gaddis. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Griggs was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Harvey Griggs Sr.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Clarence H. Griggs Jr., Winder, and Wiley D. and Kathy Griggs, Sharpsburg, John and Sharon Griggs, Dacula; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy Wilmart, Jasper, Kaye and Bob Clark, Winder, Georgia and Jim Lokey and Tina and Sandy Brown, all of Dacula; a special friend, Bobby Davis; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and brothers and sister-in-law, Gerald and Connie Gaddis and Tommy Gaddis, all of Winder.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 24, at 11 a.m., from Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Rusty Davis officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery in Tucker. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, September 23, from 6 to 9 p.m.
