WINDER – Dorothy Lorraine Shoemaker, 64, died Monday, September 20, 2010.
Born in Washington, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Theda Potter Hyde. She was a dog trainer.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Shoemaker, Winder; a son, Bill Pastor, Douglas County; daughters, Colleen Cimino, Houston, Pa., Cathleen Siefert, Greensburg, Pa., and Susan Williams, Cartersville; 11 grandchildren; brother, Robert Hyde, Phoenix, Ariz.; and sisters, Nora Steele, Washington, Pa., and Kathleen Underwood, Tucson, Ariz.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 23, at 6 p.m., from Smith Memory Chapel with Apostle Marvin Moore officiating. The body will cremated after the service. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 23, from 4 to 6 prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
