COLBERT – Ruby Kirkland, 78, died Saturday, September 18, 2010.

A native of Madison County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Turner and Nona Pence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Kirkland.

Survivors include children, Dwain Kirkland and Sheila Ady; a brother, James Pence; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 25, at 3 p.m., at Colbert Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, September 24, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
