DANIELSVILLE – Jerry Dwayne Alewine, 54, died Sunday, September 19, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospice House in Bogart.
Born in Jackson County on April 3, 1956, he was the son of the late V.M. and Willie Jo Hart Alewine. He was a crane operator and a member of the Calvary Temple of Deliverance.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Jordan Alewine, Danielsville; a son, B.J. Alewine, Danielsville; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Marvin Craig, Ila; and a brother, Billy Alewine, Ila.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 21, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Revs. Donald Vaughn and Marshall Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in the Middle River Baptist Church cemetery in Carnesville.
The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Monday, September 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. The family is at the home.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, is in charge of arrangements.
