COLBERT – Brian Keith Johnson, 32, died Thursday, September 16, 2010.
A native of Athens, he was the son of Freddie and Vickey Johnson of Athens. He was a 1996 graduate of Madison County High School and a 2006 graduate of Piedmont College. He was employed with Merial Unlimited and was a member of Hull Baptist Church. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and enjoyed fishing and yard work. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cloyce and Mildred Johnson and Berry Eugene and Mary Frances Brown.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife of two years, Andrea Radford Johnson; two sisters, Kim Johnson and Kristen (Chris) Hamel, all of Athens; nephew, Luke Hamel; mother-in-law, Lynne Walden Radford; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John A. (April) Radford, Jr.; sister-in-law and brother–in-law, Allison (Chad) Welch; best friends, Michael, Mandy and Riley Carey; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 19, at Green Acres Baptist Church with the Revs. Randy Crowe, Fred Rowell and Charles Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
