Wyman Sargent

BRASELTON – Wyman Douglas Sargent, 69, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at his residence.

Born in Homer, he was the son of the late James Frank and Maggie Moore Sargent. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army and was a security guard.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Nell Colley Sargent, Braselton; son, Alan Sargent, Braselton; daughter, Cindy Jones, Clarkesville; brother, Ronnie Sargent, Huntersville, N.C.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 17, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwayne Carroll officiating. Burial will be at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, September 16, from 6 to 8 p.m.
