NICHOLSON – Betty J. Brock, 79, died Saturday, September 11, 2010.
The daughter of the late Theron and Edna-Mae Barber, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Brock Sr.; and a brother-in-law, Harold Dean Adams.
Survivors include a son,, James Edward Brock Jr., Athens; daughters, Glenda (Tom) Bryant and Janice Cook, all of Athens, and Lisa L. Brock, Nicholson; sisters, LaRue Adams, Nicholson, and Robbie (Armell) Adams, Baldwin; sisters-in-law, Margaret Barber and Linda Barber; grandchildren, Tyler Davis, Jamie Hicks, Eric Bryant and Cynthia Stephens; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, September 13, at 2 p.m., from the Gordon Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Alan Seagraves and Jeff Adams officiating.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
