DANIELSVILLE – Leatus C. Seay, 93, died Friday, September 10, 2010, at Hill Haven Nursing Home.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Early W. and Lois Wade Seay. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army during World War II, and was employed by Harmony Grove Mills. Mr. Seay was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Odessa Acree Seay.
Survivors include a son, David C. Seay, San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Mary Nations, Commerce; brother, Paul Seay, Jonesboro; sisters, Sue Johnston, Danielsville, Katie Patterson, Athens, and Lydia Bruce, Homer; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 12, from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Peterson officiating. Burial was in Grey Hill Cemetery.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
