Peggy Walker

NEWBORN - Peggy Jeanette Peppers Walker, 61, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010.

She was born in Monroe on November 10, 1948 to Rosie Mae Morrell Peppers, Winder, and the late Owen Clarence Peppers. She was preceded in death by a brother, Emory Graham Peppers.

Survivors in addition to her mother are her husband, Joe Walker, Newborn; sons and daughters-in law, Jeff and Heather Walker, Monroe, Johnny and Brandi Walker, Newborn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Sam Smith, Bertie Sargent, and Bessie Bridges, all of Monroe, Diane and Jeff Patrick, Winder, brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Peggy Peppers, Ralph and Bessie Peppers, and Donald and Delaine Peppers, all of Monroe, Billy Peppers, and Gene and Sally Peppers, all of Watkinsville, Danny and Faye Peppers, Loganville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Martha and Doug Jordan, Monroe; grandchildren, B.J. Walker, Jessica Walker, Peggy Walker, Annie Cummings, Helsha Huggins, Kelsey Cowan, and Candi Waters; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held Thursday, September 9, from the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Revs. John Cox and Glen McIntire officiating. Burial was in Social Circle City Cemetery.

Meadows Funeral Home, Inc., Monroe, was in charge of arrangements.
