PENDERGRASS – Harve Earlie Johnson, 72, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010.
He had lived in Pendergrass for 20 years and loved yard work, carpentry and his family. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by brothers, Earl Johnson, Roy Johnson and William Lewis Johnson.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Shirley V. Johnson; sons, Harve E. Johnson Jr. and wife, Teresa, Cleveland, Joe L. Johnson and wife, Wanda, Braselton; brother, J.D. Johnson and wife, Ann, Bethlehem; sister, Martha Hayes and husband, Edward, Hoschton, five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 3, at 2 p.m., at Living Hope Christian Fellowship with the Revs. Allen Stevens and William Pirkle officiating. Burial will be at Pendergrass First Baptist Church Cemetery in Pendergrass. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, September 2, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Lawson Funeral Home, Hoschton, is in charge of arrangements.
