GAINESVILLE – Marion “Gail” Puckett, 72, died Thursday, August 26, 2010, at her residence.
Born in Coral Gables, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Ralph Henry and Marian Louise Faircloth Reineke. She was employed with the City of College Park for 25 years. In later years she was a library assistant for the Murrayville Hall County Library. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church. She leaves a legacy of lifelong Christian service and will be greatly missed by her friends and family, loved ones stated.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Sherry Puckett, Gainesville; daughter, Michele Marie Collier, Gainesville; grandchildren, Blair and Brianna Collier and Regan and Joshua Puckett.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 29, at 2:30 p.m., from Memorial North Park Riverside Chapel with the Rev. Tom Smiley and Jerry Gill officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Lakewood Baptist Church Building Fund, 2235 Thompson Bridge Rd., Gainesville, GA 30501.
