Willard Denham

COMMERCE – Mrs. Willard Culpepper Hawkins Denham, 88 died Friday, August 20, 2010, at Southern Pines in Maysville.

Born in Jackson County she was the daughter of the late Willie and Gert Hardy Culpepper. Mrs. Denham was preceded in death by a brother, Bud Culpepper.

Survivors include a sister, Belle Murray, Commerce; and Ed Culpepper, Commerce; special nieces and nephews, Jerry and Linda Culpepper, Judy and the late Mitchell Culpepper, Judy and Brent Williams and Jan and Peanut Dorsey; and 13 great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 22, from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Revs. Douglas Duncan and Jeff Pearce officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
