ILA – John Michael Andrews, 38, died Tuesday, August 17, 2010.
A native of Athens, he was the son of Michael Andrews and stepmother, Kathryn, of Ila and the late Gilda L. Parham. He was a passionate outdoorsman, an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved children, loved ones stated.
Survivors in addition to his father and stepmother include a brother, Robert L. Parham, Ila; grandmother, Ann Andrews, Social Circle; aunt, Rita Kyttle, Blairsville; cousin, Conway Casper, Athens; and a number of aunts and uncles.
Memorial services will be held Friday, August 20, at 7 p.m., from the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Pritchett officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers please make contributions to any childrens or wildlife organizations.
Bridges Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
