Geri Brook

DAWSONVILLE – Geri (Board) Brook, 43, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at her residence following a brief illness.

Born in Kankakee, Ill., she was the daughter of Carol Board and the late Gerald Board. Mrs. Brook was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Lavar Brook; and a sister, Jaime Board.

Survivors in addition to her mother include a brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Misty Board, Paducah, Ky.; sisters and brother-in-law, Paula Robinson, Flowery Branch, and Rene and Ronnie Baker, Dickson, Tenn.; an aunt, Teresa Wilson, Dickson, Tenn.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 13, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Sunday, August 15, at 2 p.m., at Cave Hill Cemetery, Cave-In-Rock, Ill.

Memorial Park South Funeral Home, Flowery Branch, is in charge of arrangements.
