LULA – Jesse Franklin Campbell, 71, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
Born in Banks County, he was the son of the late J.B. and Azzie Whisnant Campbell.
Survivors include sisters, Mattie Ruth Carder, Murrayville, and Lucille Rigsby, Lula; brothers, Homer Campbell, Baldwin, and Roger Campbell, Commerce.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 13, at 2 p.m., from the Silver Shoals Baptist Church with the Revs. Trent Campbell, David Tilson and Perry Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, August 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., at other times at 578 Hickory Flat Rd., Gillsville. The body will lie in state at the church for 30 minutes prior to the service.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
