PENDERGRASS – Randall Shaw, 71, died Friday, August 6, 2010, following a period of declining health.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late John Henry and Vera Mae Maynard Shaw. He was retired from General Motors Corporation and was a member of Walnut Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Ann Campbell Shaw, Pendergrass; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Tracy Pittman, Carnesville; grandchildren, Lauren and Taylor Stevens; brothers and sisters-in-law, Derwood and Eula Mae Shaw, Gainesville, W.F. and Pat Shaw, Hoschton, Harold and Virginia Shaw, and Kenneth and Genene Shaw, all of Pendergrass; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vera Dean and Gordon Wetherford, Pendergrass, Kay and David Gerrin, Braselton; and a sister, Marylyn Carlyle, Pendergrass.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 8, from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. Jeff Worley, Greg Worley and Todd Coble officiating. Burial was in the Walnut Fork Baptist Church cemetery.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
