WINDER - Jane Harris Martin, 75, died Thursday, August 5, 2010.
A native of Winder, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Oris H. Harris. Mrs. Martin was a member of Chapel Christian Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl J. Martin; a daughter, Cindy Chandler; granddaughter, Jessica Martin; and sister, Peggy Harris.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Gloria Martin, Winder; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jim Gooch, Jefferson; and son-in-law, Phil Chandler, Winder; grandchildren, Kimberlie Sutterfield, Christopher Gooch, Jarrett Martin, Barry Chandler, Kristin Chandler and Andrew Chandler; and one great-grandchild, Sean Sutterfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 7, at 2 p.m., from Smith Memory Chapel, with Minister Tom Plank officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 6, from 5 to 9 p.m.
