JEFFERSON – Thelma Dlean Ledford Hardy, 88, died Monday, August 2, 2010.
Born on October 25, 1921, in Cleveland, she was the daughter of the late Henry Clayton and Mary Elizabeth Crumley Ledford. She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Albert Leonard Hardy, Jefferson; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and John Davis, Smyrna, Sandra and Tom Venable, Jefferson, Vickie and David Flood, Buford; son, Al Hardy, Jefferson; sister-in-law, Fannie Ledford, Brooklyn, N.Y.; grandchildren, Jill Abernathy (Brad), Scott Davis, Kerri Davis, Erika Green, Jaymie Flood, Stephanie Miller (Danny); and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 4, at 1 p.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Swayne Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Park in Commerce. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Ledford, John Veal, Bob Veal, Clifford Ledford, Rick Ledford and Allen Banks. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, August 3, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Flowers are optional and memorials may be made to the Ebenezer Methodist Church, 1368 Ebenezer Church Rd., Jefferson, GA 30549.
