BRASELTON – Charles Ray Gaddis, 67, died Monday, August 2, 2010.
Born on May 10, 1943, in Braselton, he was the son of the late Walter D. Gaddis Sr. and Mary Emma Gaddis. He was a retired shipping and receiving clerk with Williams-Scotsman.
Survivors include a daughter, Regina Wilson, Braselton; son, James Ray Gaddis, Jefferson; sisters, Katie Sue Flowers and Betty Jean Hayes, both of Braselton; and grandchildren, Nicholas Wilson, Megan Wilson and Hayley Trent.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 4, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. Kevin Page and Thomas Holmes officiating. Burial will be in the Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery in Braselton. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Flowers, Jeff Gaddis, Steve Hayes, Brent Walker, Randy Gaddis and Andy Gaddis. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 3, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
