JEFFERSON – Myrtle Croy McGinnis, 86, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, following a period of declining health.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Augusta Kelly Croy. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. McGinnis was preceded in death by her husband, George McGinnis.
Survivors include a nephew and caregiver, Chuck Martin, Jefferson; nephew, Billy Martin, Commerce; sisters, Victoria Martin and Margie Polk, both of Huntsville, Nellie Pirrung and Bonnie Clark, both of Gainesville.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 3, at 11 a.m., from the Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
