NICHOLSON – Clayton Lamar Palmer, 65, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospice House.
Born in Nicholson, he was the son of the late George Clayton and Helen Whitehead Palmer. He was retired from Power Partners and was a United States Army veteran. He was a quiet loving husband, father and grandfather and was a man who lived his faith and set a Christian example for those blessed enough to have known him, loved ones stated.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Baker Palmer, Nicholson; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Chanda Palmer, Commerce, and Travis and Shannon Palmer, Nicholson; a daughter, Melissa Palmer, Nicholson; brother, William Palmer, Nicholson; sister, Gail Barnett, Nicholson; and grandchildren, Gailey Palmer, Grace Palmer and Morgan Palmer.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 3, at 11 a.m., from the River of Life Worship Center with the Revs. Bobby Ivester, Mike Stowers and Dennis Kesler officiating. Burial will be in Howington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral Home Monday, August 2, from 6 to 9 p.m.
