JEFFERSON – Clifford Poole Jr., 85, died Sunday, July 18, 2010.
Born in Gwinnett County on August 19, 1924, he was the son of the late Clifford Poole Sr. and Everlena Daniels Poole Russell.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Poole, Jefferson; daughters, Luerine Peterson, Charlotte (Jaral) Gaudlock; sons, Earley (Jacqueline) Poole, Clifford (Sharon) Poole III, and Kenneth (Kimberly) Poole, all of Jefferson; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Ms. Minnie Hardeman, Winder, and Mrs. Nettie (Thomas) McCray, East Point; one brother-in-law, Earl (Mary) Hardeman, Winder; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 22, at the Cedar Grove Methodist Church with the Rev. Julius Mack officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Gardenview Funeral Home, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
