DANIELSVILLE – Thomas Dudley, 80, died Monday, July 26, 2010, at the Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens.
Born in Madison County on September 30, 1930, he was the son of the late Wiley Boyd and Allie Carey Dudley. He was a retired supervisor at Colonial Poultry and a retired warehouse manager at W & H Poultry. He was currently a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Stephens Dudley, Danielsville; sons, Mike Dudley, Danielsville, and Greg Dudley, Ila; daughters, Deborah Dudley Scott, Hartwell, Denise Dudley Dove, Canon, and Patrice Dudley Scott, Royston; sisters, Carolyn Pearson and Cathy Dudley, both of Danielsville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 28, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Revs. David Carey and Glenn Guest officiating. Burial will be in the Franklin Memorial Gardens – South. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family is at home.
