MAYSVILLE – Alford Patrick, 67, died Thursday, July 22, 2010.
Born in Franklin County on March 6, 1943, he was the son of the late J.W. and Willie Mae Payne Patrick. He worked as a logger with L.H. Davis and Son Logging Company. Mr. Patrick was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Greg; sister, Wilma Cochran; and brothers, Billy and Robert Patrick.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Bingham Patrick, Maysville; children, Vickie Jones, Phoenix, Ariz., Tammie Lewis and Chuck Patrick, both of Commerce, Rodney Holland, Maysville, and LaTonya Nicole Hudson, Watkinsville; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Johnnie Sue Hill, Commerce, Annie Ray Cartledge, Nicholson; brothers, Leroy Patrick, Edward Patrick, Roger Patrick, and David Patrick, all of Commerce, and Weymon Patrick, Glenville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 24, at 4 p.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. Winfred Bingham and Sherry Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Bingham Family Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Henry Lewis, Joe Leftwich, Neil Bingham, Ricky Cain, Scott Hudson and Stephen Cain. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, July 23, from 6 to 9 p.m.
