CARLTON – Tim Lee “Cajun” Phillips, 49, died Monday, July 5, 2010.
A native of Baton Rouge, La., he was the son of the late Linwood Lee and Alma Belle Phillips. He was employed with Century Contractors for many years. Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Melanie Phillips; children, Christi Lockridge and Cayla Phillips, both of Winder, and Candi Phillips, Commerce; a sister, Lillian Bennett, Winder; six grandchildren, Victoria, Madison, Austin, Layla, Angel and Delanea; special niece, Peggy Reno, Louisiana; godchildren, Amanda Reno and Christopher Reno; nephews, Dempsey Cummings, David Cummings, Jason Cummings, all of Denim Springs, La.
Graveside services were held Saturday, July 10, at Carlton Cemetery.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
