WINDER - Talmadge Dwayne Hanson, 53, died Sunday, July 11, 2010.
A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Will and Bell Hardy Hanson. Mr. Hanson was a heavy equipment operator with Gunter Pipeline Construction in Lawrenceville.
Survivors include children, April Johnson, Winder, and Crystal Hanson, Covington; four grandchildren, Michaela Johnson, Jason Johnson Jr., Emma Johnson and Dylan Montford; sisters, Bernice Hicks and Ruby Glass, both of Jefferson, and Ann Griffin, Winder; brothers, Will Hanson and Robert Hanson, both of Winder, and Charles Hanson, Jefferson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 17, at 1 p.m. at Mountain Creek Baptist Church in Monroe.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
