NICHOLSON – Roy Lee Gary, 49, died Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of Josiephine Lee Brock Gary of Nicholson and the late Harold Lee Gary. He was employed in the heavy equipment construction industry.
Survivors in addition to his mother include brothers, Aubrey Gary and Lee Gary, both of Commerce, Thomas Gary, Nicholson; seven nieces and nephews; and six great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 12, at River of Life Worship Center with the Revs. Bobby Ivester and Marty Smith officiating. Burial was in the Nicholson Cemetery.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.

Roy, you will be missed. Your way of always being the same and your kindness to everyone will always be remembered. I have many good memories and always appreciated the time you shared with me.

Uncle Roy died on the 9th. Not the 10th. He died exactly 13 years after his Dad, Harold Lee died. He is already greatly missed.
