AUBURN - Jo Plunkett, 82, died Friday, July 2, 2010.
Mrs. Plunkett was a member of Smyrna Christian Church and retired after 37 years from Bellsouth as a customer service representative. She was preceded in death by her son, Cary Ray Plunkett.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ray Plunkett, Auburn; daughter-in-law: Cathy Plunkett, Kennesaw; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Paul Bentley, Lawrenceville; sister-in-law, Elia Fuller, Smyrna; grandchildren, Jenny and Sandy Plunkett, Kennesaw; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, from the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, with Tolbert Moore officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, July 6.
